Yosemite, CA

We have spent the last two weeks here at Coarsegold, CA in the SKP park of Park Sierra.  During our stay we have visited Yosemite National Park, and have seen its beautiful vistasGlacier Point.  It is about 35 miles away, but it is worth the trip.  We ate at the Ahwahnee Hotel, famous for a special guest, Queen Elizabeth, so we knew we were in great company!!  Glacier Point Road is a must do.  It is 17 miles to the Point, and you have to return the same way, but well worth it.  We are early birds when we travel, but even in April there was a crowd by mid morning. What a view from here!!!
We also visited Rollie’s cousin, Alan and Buna just up the road.  It was nice to renew our friendship.  We will meet them once more before we head north.  Here are a few pictures of the area:Glacier Point
Yosemite Falls
Rollie is also investigating this hobby of geocaching his cousin is doing.  Stay tune for more on that.  We may be looking to find hidden objects along our journey.

  1. Beautiful pictures! Linda and I have been geocaching for 6 years. It's lots of fun and gets you to places you wouldn't necessarily go. Keep on blogging!
