. It is about 35 miles away, but it is worth the trip. We ate at the Ahwahnee Hotel, famous for a special guest, Queen Elizabeth, so we knew we were in great company!! Glacier Point Road is a must do. It is 17 miles to the Point, and you have to return the same way, but well worth it. We are early birds when we travel, but even in April there was a crowd by mid morning.What a view from here!!!We also visited Rollie’s cousin, Alan and Buna just up the road. It was nice to renew our friendship. We will meet them once more before we head north. Here are a few pictures of the area:
Rollie is also investigating this hobby of geocaching his cousin is doing. Stay tune for more on that. We may be looking to find hidden objects along our journey.
